Long Business Description

Hibiscus Water, Nuts & Dried Fruit provides the perfect healthy solution for people on the run. Launched in December 2014, the shop, which is ideally located between Lucky?s Tackle Shop and the Post Office in Manaba, offers a range of seeds, dried fruits, nuts, iced lollies and purified water for hungry and thirsty travellers and locals.
Owners Johan and Ronel Bothma opened the shop with the intention of providing high quality snack foods and purified water that is certified as clean and full of essential minerals. Johan personally purifies all the water using a reverse osmosis process, bringing the water to a zero alkalinity with no sediment or dirt present. What differentiates this purified water from many others on the local market is that he then adds back in the essential minerals that were removed in the purification process, using an alkaline filter. The end result is extremely clean and healthy water.
The water is available for purchase in 500 ml, 1.5 litre and 5 litre bottles. Customers can also buy empty 25 litre and 10 litre bottles which can be refilled by Johan. Purified ice (3 kg bag) and purified flavoured ice lollies are also available. In delicious naartjie, crem‚ soda, peach and strawberry variants, the iced lollies are available in packs of 10 and 20 and are a welcome treat on a hot South Coast day. Frozen yoghurt lollies are also available.
All dried fruits, seeds and nuts are sourced from a reputable supplier in Durban. Hibiscus Water, Nuts & Dried Fruit is able to put together both fruit munch and nut munch trail packs which are ideal for school children, busy workers and families on the go. All contents can be customised and ordered in bulk if prior notice is given.
